There’s something special about starting fresh. That moment when you finally listen to the thing that’s been tugging at you for years. For me, Azalia Rosales Media Co. has always felt a little like the red string theory… this quiet pull I couldn’t explain, but always felt. No matter where life took me, it brought me right back here.
My love for photography started along time ago! I was that girl in middle school and high school who never went anywhere without a camera. I loved catching the real stuff — the laughs, the chaos, the tiny moments people didn’t realize were happening. Lifestyle photography came naturally to me long before I even knew what that word ment.
I bought my first DSLR camera right after high school. For some reason I felt like my life could not go on until I bought it. I took a beginner’s course with one of our best local photographers, and that was it — I was obsessed. I kept learning and carried it everywhere… until life got busy and my camera sat quiet for a while. But deep down, I always knew I’d come back to it.
And when I did, I started shooting but the word ‘Niche” scared me so bad! But now here I am and I feel like everything in my life had been leading me toward western lifestyle photography. The open skies, the dust, the grit, the stillness, the freedom makes me feel so alive. Make me feel so at home. And capturing it, along with the people who live and love in it, feels like something I’m meant to do.
Photography, to me, isn’t just taking a pretty picture. It’s the feeling behind it. The memory. The story that stays long after the moment is gone.
This is my fresh start — a place where I can share the heart behind my work, what inspires me, the western touches in my style, and the vision I’m stepping into with confidence and intention.
